Fresh Perspectives on Law aims to introduce students to new areas of law, key reforms and different views on often-controversial issues.
Since being launched in 2012, Fresh Perspectives on Law has hosted speakers including Professor Jeremy Horder who is a former Law Commissioner, Professor John Cooper QC, Courtenay Griffiths QC who defended the former Charles Taylor, the former President of Liberia at the International Criminal Court at The Hague and Professor Susan Edwards.

The series is open to all BPP students, students at other institutions, law lecturers, practitioners and members of the public.

Students who attend the series are able to learn about areas of law and practice which they might not necessarily cover on the their courses. It also offers a chance to participate in the question and answer session which follows each lecture, and to network with the speakers and other guests.
